Clarence Center is located in the Buffalo / Niagara Frontier region forms the western border of New York State with the Province of Ontario, Canada. This is a perdominantly urban landscape along the frontier, but the eastern and southern portions of the region are still quite rural.

Niagara Falls is one of the 7 natural wonders of the world and the biggest tourist attraction in Western New York.

Nearby, the Erie Canal ends it's 300 mile trip from Albany as it empties into Lake Erie near Tonawanda. The "famous five" stair step locks that carried the canal over the Niagara Escarpment at Lockport are still preserved near the Erie Canal museum.

The Niagara Frontier Region is considered to comprise the counties of Erie and Niagara in Western, New York State and it borders on the Niagara River and Lake Erie.
