Stanfordville is located in Dutchess County halfway between New York City and Albany, New York, the state capitol, on the east bank of the Hudson River. It's part of one of only 14 designated National Heritage areas in the U.S. It's a ninety-minute drive, train or bus ride north from New York City or south from Albany, our state capitol.
The City of Poughkeepsie is the largest city in the county. The FDR Home in Hyde Park and Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson are located here as well.
