SeaScape Manor Bed and Breakfast is nestled among tall oak trees on a high hill overlooking the Atlantic offering travelers a comfortable and elegant haven. SeaScape Manor is just 45 minutes from both Newark and bustling New York City yet seems like a world apart in is serene setting.
Once a private nineteenth-century home, it still retains all of its original charm. From the comfortable parlor with its crackling fire to the handsome guestrooms with world-class views and a tasteful array of antiques. No detail has been overlooked. Accommodations include four spacious, air-conditioned guestrooms each with a private bath, spectacular ocean view, and cable television with VCR. Two rooms are graced with private decks, and one has a large soaking tub. Charming antique king- or queen-sized beds reflect the manor's history, while crisp, fresh linens, and hand-crafted furnishings create a warm and welcoming ambiance. During the holiday season, the manor grows even more lovely with opulent decorations.
Breakfast offers homemade muffins served with fresh fruit, freshly ground coffee, and sparkling juice. Favorites such as peaches and cream French toast, zucchini souffles, and blackberry crepes are presented on fine china and beautiful linens. These decadent meals are served on the deck overlooking the ocean or in front of the fireplace. Special dietary meals are prepared upon request.
Visiting SeaScape Manor is also visiting the eight miles of ocean beaches that make up beautiful and relaxing Sandy Hook National Recreation Sea Shore. Along with the seashore come historic lighthouses, fishing, wonderful seafood restaurants, and water-side dining. Other attractions and activities in the area include concerts, antiques, Monmouth Race Track, PNC Arts Center, biking, hiking, theater, sight-seeing, festivals, and of course, the 45-minute ferry trips to New York City. All of this and much more awaits you during your escape.
