Hampton Terrace was built in 1897 to participate in Lenox's annual summer social season, which included other local 'cottage' owners, such as the Morgans, Astors, Carnegies, Vanderbilts and Westinghouses. An Inn since 1937, Hampton Terrace is located in Lenox town center and is one mile from Tanglewood. Enjoy beautifully detailed public rooms with sconces, fireplaces, elaborate moldings and a breath-taking three-story suspended stair. Rooms are updated, air-conditioned and feature antiques and vintage fabics. More than half include fireplaces and spa tubs. Romantic and intimate. Walk to Lenox's heralded shops and restaurants. 1897 Main House completely updated in 2001 - 5 period guest rooms - all with private baths, tv/vcrs, cd players and air conditioning. Some rooms feature fireplaces, spa tubs or antique claw-foot soaking tubs.
1897 Carriage House completely renovated and modernized in 2000 - 6 lovely King or Queen Guest Rooms - all with private baths, fireplaces, Jacuzzis, air conditioning, in-room tv/vcrs, down comforters & vintage furniture, drapes & decorations.
Each room has a private bath, air conditioning, television with vcr and cd player.
Each room has been recently renovated and redecorated with vintage fabrics and antiques.
We are less than a 5 minute walk to all Lenox shops and restaurants.
